My Popular Mechanics HHO Generator Challenge?
Back in January, I posted an article about the poorly researched and written “expose’ ” in Popular Mechanics online, authored by an embarrassed Mike Allen - who was/is the “expert” auto editor.
Here is that article in case yo didn’t see it: http://hhokitsdirect.com/articles/hybrid/my-popular-mechanics-online-hho-challenge.html
His poorly researched slam of the HHO industry caused me to write him and challenge him to a dual of sorts- one where i take all the risk- provide the HHO generator, the installation, even fly out at my own expense. If it worked- his only requirement would be to write a follow up article about HHO, correcting his false accusations. If it didn’t work, well, then i would apologize and he gets the credit for the article, and no one loses but me.
Well, here we are in April, I thought I would take a quick jaunt over and maybe stir up a few feathers…guess what I found?
NOTHING. They have now removed ALL comments to this shard of an article, leaving the article intact, but NO COMMENTS. Not only that, they have now made it mandatory to receive a password/user name before posting any comments…hmmmmm something stinks here.
Here’s the link now: http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/alternative-fuel/gas-mileage/4276846
Is the fact they have no comments (after deleting over 300 comments I believe) just because they don’t approve any on this article?
I will have to try and sign up and see if they block me from posting a new challenge…

A Proposed Hydrogen Highway-East Coast
Here’s an interesting article on the Hydrogen Highway- not very practical.
They want to build 11 soalr powered hydrogen filling stations on the East coast at the cost of $300,000 each. The downside? They can only handle refilling 10-12 cars a day…
Ummmm- Let’s see, for $36,000,000, we could donate 30,000+ of our top of the line HHO Generator kits for people to put into their everyday cars.
They would instantly be saving 20-40% on fuel, and have emissions drop- all while just using water.
If it was just our smallest HHO Generator, we could give out 60,000+ hho kits.
SO which idea would be better in the long run? 10-12 cars filling up a day (plus the exotic price of a pure hydrogen car), or 60,000 cars using a hybrid hydrogen generator?
But alas, because the former idea lacks any fical responsibilty, makes no financial or environmental sense, and gives the absolute worst result for money spent, it will probably get government spending right away…

Radical Drop In Emissions From HHO Generator Causes Mechanic to Think Machine is Broken
I just wanted to post a quick note that one of our customers in Los Angeles, CA has installed one of our Monster Mega brick 773’s into his 1982 Pontiac Firebird with amazing results.
I don’t want to say much more until I see copies of the actual emissions report (he’s going to send them to me), but essentially he was having trouble passing smog, but after putting our unit in he took it to his mechanic and they ran a before/after test on emissions. Apparently it dropped so low and so fast that the mechanic thought his machine was broken! Hahaha- I love it!
Will is now set up as an installer in the LA area, and is already booked up just with people who have seen what happens when a good HHO Generator is installed!
I’ll post more info when it comes, but I know that the first reading (carbon monoxides?) went from 940 down to 288 and the PPM (particulates dropped from 41 to ZERO!
These things should be mandatory in all cars with that result! Way to go Will!

30% Increase on Ford F350 using our HHO Generator
Hey everyone- just got another report from one of our customers- she told me it was fine to post this…
Hybrid Cell cranks out 6 liters of hho gas a minute....
Lily Chen of Canada installed one of our Monster Mega-Brick 773’s into their 2001 Ford F350 Pick up truck (a monster brick for a monster vehicle!). This truck had no O2 sensors, so no EFIE was required.
They got an incredible 30% increase! That’s a real gas saver with a vehicle that size!
Way to go Lily!
Keep the reports coming people! I will post them here….
Send me some photos too!

New HHO Generator Even Better Increase With Mileage Chip
Wow! I just got an email this evening from our fellow researcher/ installer Roger T. up in sunny Vancouver, BC (just kidding- it’s zero degrees there).
He wanted me to know the results of his newest test with the mileage chip we sent him to use with our new Hybrid Cell HHO generator - 772 series.
On an earlier post I mentioned that Roger had bumped his mileage from 22 mpg to 36.5 mpg in his nice 2009 Hyundai Genesis. On this setup, he used a top of the line digital efie we sent him along with the complete Dynamic Dual 772 HHO Generator kit. Phenomenal 65.9% increase.
On his second test, he disconnected the efie, and installed the new mileage chip we sent him for testing. Everything else remained the same, including the 100 mile testing route.
The result????
He went from 22 mpg to 40.65 mpg which is about an 83% INCREASE in his gas mileage using our new line of Hybrid Cell Hydrogen Generators!
It just keeps getting better and better!
I can’t wait to get to test them in our two project cars here. I’ll keep you informed…
KUDOS again to you Roger. By the way- if any of you live in the Washington, Oregon, or Vancouver BC area and want one of our kits, but would rather have it installed by a pro- let me know and I will arrange it privately between you two.
Another great testimony - New Hybrid Cell HHO Generators!
I just got this email this morning from our friend Gabriel in Africa. This is his first install, so I will let him share it in his words:
Hello Robert,
I’d like to share my experience with the HHO kit (Potent powerhouse
772 kit) which I purchased from hhokitsdirect.
It has really been a long journey, starting from ordering to shipping and then installation. I installed this kit on a 2002 model Xterra XE
(automatic) with over 112,000 miles already on the clock. One of my first challenges while trying to install the kit was where to situate the generator and the reservoir. The Xterra is a V6 engine and the engine compartment is packed full; following advice in the manual, I decided to mount the hho generator just after the bumper. The installation took me 3 days in total. Immediately I put on the system, my ‘malfunction indicator lamp’ came on and I guessed I did not install the EFIE properly which I promptly did and reset the ECU.
On the second day of turning the generator on, I noticed that my mileage was gradually doing better. By the following week, I had been able to record a significant mileage per tank of almost 15 miles.
Normally (pre HHO Kit installation), I averaged between 160 to 190 miles per 70ltr tank. Now (with HHO kit installed and turned on), I am averaging about 220 to 230 miles per tank. This is an average of 18% mileage increase. I am really please with this result, though I know it could be better because I suspect my EFIE is damaged (it is stuck at 448mV for the upstream sensors). I plan to replace the EFIE and then set the upstream to 350mV and see how much more fuel savings I can get.
I also observed that, my gear shifts are smoother, the exhaust fumes smell ‘strangely’ fresh, there is more power when I push down on the accelerator pedal and the engine temperature seems to be cooler to the tuch.
For me, this is a good product and I am looking forward to further increase my mileage when I get a new EFIE
Gabriel

Gabriels 772 HHO Generator installation
Here is a photo of the 772 HHO Generator hooked up with the reservoir in the front of his Xterra. Overall a nice install!
He had a defective EFIE (not his fault).
Let me tell you- if he’s getting those results WITHOUT the front 2 EFIE’s being adjusted, he is going to at least double those results or better when he finishes. The front O2 sensors (usually called the upstream sensors) are the most critical in determining fuel amounts going into the engine. Usually people get worse mileage when they don’t have those taken care of. This is going to be GOOD.
Thanks Gabriel! Keep it up man- you are almost there!

HHO Generator gives HUGE Mileage increase to Luxury Hyundai
How would you like to drive a luxury car around that looks like a big car, rides like a big car, and has the power of a big car, yet gets the mileage of a small Honda?
That’s what Roger T. of Vancouver Canada did with one of our new Hybrid Cells. He had installed an inferior HHO generator from another company (earlier in the 2009). It DID give him good results at first, but then dwindled out to nothing and then started having problems. Pulling it apart he noticed it was full of thick brown gunk- all clogged up. He returned it and they sent him a new one, which also quickly clogged up and stopped working.
We happened to meet Roger on our road trip to Canada back in August - he came to one of our meet and greets in a nice park in Vancouver, BC. He showed me his photos of that unit all pulled apart - it looked bad. I could tell right away it was a really poor design, just based on all of my research these last couple of years (I can’t tell you how many tear downs and rebuilds I’ve done- to make sure the final design was perfect). “The fluid dynamics are all wrong.” I told him.
He looked our system over, I told him I’d let him know when we finally released it, and we headed on to Victoria Island for the last leg of that journey.
We finally had our Pre-Launch event the last weekend in October, 2009, (3 day sell out!) and Roger bought several units.
He installed the 772 on his 2009 Hyundai Genesis. If you haven’t seen these before- they are NICE. In fact my wife had a chance to look at it which was probably a mistake on my part, because she got to thinking that would be a real nice car to get next…uh oh.
His car was beautiful to say the least, and I believe he had the 3.5 liter motor in it. This would be a great test for our new Hybrid Cell hydrogen generators!
Right around Christmas he called me to let me know that he has some initial results: from 22 mpg to 36.5mpg!!! That is a phenomenal 65.9% increase in gas mileage using our 772 mid sized HHO generator. Way to go Roger- keep up the good work.
Oh by the way- if you live in or near Vancouver, BC, and need a great installer - Roger T. is the guy to use. He is a retired mechanic so he’s good at it, and now he has the right systems to install. Email me or post on this blog if you need to contact him, and I’ll set it up.
Thanks!
