67 Miles Per Gallon using our HHO Generator Kit!
Yes! You read that correct. I’m not talking about 67% increase here, I am talking 67 MPG using our 772 HHO generator and a mileage chip!
What was it in you ask? A Honda? A Toyota? Hyundai, Subaru, or Mitsubishi?
NOT even close! How about a 1997 Oldsmobile Delta 88? Unbelievable? That’s what I thought too. Here are the very specific details from our friends Paul and Sandy over at Energy Evolutions in Florida.

The project car with HHo generator and mileage chip
First, let me say this was NOT smooth sailing from the beginning. In fact the first mileage reports were disappointing, almost non-existent…so we went through a series of checklists: Power connections good? Fuse OK? HHO Generator making gas? Reservoir and electrolyte properly filled and mixed?
Everything should have been fine, but for some reason the mileage was not there….
We finally narrowed it down to a faulty mileage chip. Even though it was new, for some reason it wasn’t calibrating properly. So I had Paul mail it back to us, and we flashed a brand new chip for him- double checking all the parameters and running diagnostic checks on it just to make sure. I also included a Digital Quad Efie just in case the mileage chip did not function properly this time. It was the second set as the first one disappeared in UPS transit somehow…
Well- that appeared to fix the problem! I will let Paul’s email to me today tell the rest of the story…
Bob:
Well, Sandy and I had an exciting day. We got our chip installed and calibrated. Then we did our standard 140 mile (Exactly) test trip as we always do. Here’s a break down of the “Standard Test Trip”:
- Fill car up at the Mobil station at the corner of Flamingo and Griffin Road (Two clicks on the top off).
- Drive down Griffin to I-75 N
- Drive 65 MPH on Cruise Control down I-75 N to the Florida Route 27 N
- Drive 65 MPH on Cruise Control down FL 27 N (except where otherwise posted)
- Pull into McDonalds in Clewiston and park in same rear parking space
- Turn engine off, and go in and order cheap lunch
- Return to Cooper City, FL via same route, backwards, using same speed and driving techniques.
- Stop at same Mobil Station, and same pump to fill up using same technique
- This total trip is Exactly 140 Miles.
So, here’s the breakdown:
- Nothing hooked up, stock from factory – 30 MPG ( I was impressed with this and never thought we could do better)
- With the HHO System installed in “Best Manner” – 38 MPG (Not bad – But, needed to do better)
- With Milage Chip installed & Calibrated – (SIT DOWN NOW) – 67 MPG
Can you imagine a thirteen year old 4,000 pound piece of American Luxury steel (1997 Olds 88) going down the road at 67 MPG. Well, Sandy and I are still not believing our eyes. So, later this week we’ll make another “Standard Test Run”, just to be sure.
Enjoy,
Paul Hendee
